This workshop covers the technical skils of photogrammetry and the post-processing of captured data as well as a theoretical contextualization of the method.
Throughout the sessions, participants are invited to experiment with open – source apps to create realistic 3d-models in an accessible way.
In addition to that, the workshop offers an introduction to professional photogrammetry equipment that can be autonomously used throughout the course.
Besides the pursuit of practical skills, an outline of the political and historical conditions of the term of “capture” is presented by Pascal M. Dreier. This opens up a space to critically reflect on the consequences using practices of photography or scanning as means to encounter one’s surroundings.

The photogrammetry workshop took part during the “Affective Arrangements” Residency in Korppoo.
The Residency was part of the Erasmus+ Cooperation Partnership Ecological Sustainability in Fine Arts Education (EcoSenda)
