Workshop:
Building nesting boxes for a multi-species art school
Wood workshop of the KHM, March 7th, 2019
"Since the beginnings of bird protection, the construction and installation of nesting boxes has been an integral part of active nature conservation work on site. Artificial nesting aids are useful where natural caves are lacking, because old and rotten trees are no longer present, or because buildings lack suitable breeding niches." 1
We built nesting boxes to acknowledge the reality of a multi-species art school.
